Any Jersey Cash 5 players out there better check their tickets! The New Jersey Lottery announced a $100,000 jackpot winner from one of the recent Jersey Cash 5 drawings.

The jackpot-winning drawing

The $100,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was won on Friday, March 15. The lucky ticket holder matched all five numbers during the drawing.

For the March 15 drawing, the winning numbers were 10, 14, 37, 41, and 44, and the XTRA number was 2.

The winning ticket was sold at H K Liquors at 1873 North Olden Ave. in Ewing. For selling the winning ticket, the lottery retailer will receive a bonus check of $2,000.

In a statement, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey said:

Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner; we're already looking forward to awarding another jackpot prize!

Jersey Cash 5 — how does it work?

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily draw game with drawings held every night at 10:57 p.m. ET.

Each Jersey Cash 5 play costs $1. Players will pick five numbers between 1 and 45. You can also choose the Quick Pick option, where the Lottery computer will randomly select your numbers for you.

Jersey Cash 5 players can also choose the XTRA option, which costs an additional $1 per play per draw. The XTRA option increases non-jackpot Jersey Cash 5 prizes. If you match three or more of the Jersey Cash 5 numbers drawn, your Jersey Cash 5 prize, excluding the jackpot, will be multiplied by the XTRA Multiplier. You can also win $2 by only matching two numbers with the XTRA option.

Players can also add the Instant Match option for $1 extra per play. With Instant Match, players have the chance to win up to $500 instantly. You can also choose the Multi Draw option, which allows players to play the same numbers for up to 21 consecutive drawings.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot starts at $100,000 and rolls over until someone wins it.
