Iowa players can win big with holiday scratch tickets

It’s that time of year when everyone’s full of festive cheer and holiday instant win tickets are back. Iowa lottery players have several all-new instant win games to play this year. Their prices range from $2 to $20, and you can win lots of cash prizes.

If you have a non-winning instant-win ticket, don’t worry, you have a second chance to claim a prize with the Iowa Lottery Play It Again promotion. Enter your non-winning scratch-off in the prize category for that ticket, and you could win up to $5,000 cash in one of the two remaining monthly drawings. They take place on December 14, 2023, and January 10, 2024. Even if you don’t win one of the three dates, your ticket is still eligible for entry in the January 10, 2024, grand drawing with prizes of $50,000; $100,000; and $500,000.

Starry Night

With this $20 scratch-off ticket, you can win up to $25,000. To play you need to scratch off the whole play area to reveal the holiday symbols. If you match two identical symbols on your ticket, you win the corresponding prize. If you reveal a star symbol, you win $50 instantly.

Cash Flurries

When you play this $5 instant-win game, you can claim a prize of up to $50,000. To play, simply scratch off the entire play area. If you reveal a snowman symbol, you win the prize shown for that symbol. If you reveal a thermometer symbol, you win double the prize shown for that symbol. Reveal a log cabin symbol, and you win triple the prize value for that symbol.

Ho Ho Whole Lotta $500s

This $5 instant win game is loaded with $500 prizes. To play simply scratch off the five dollar bills to reveal the winning numbers. Then scratch off the 12 snowflakes to reveal your numbers. If any of your numbers match the winning numbers, you win the prize shown for that number. If you reveal a Christmas tree symbol, you win 5X the prize shown. If you reveal a $500 symbol, you win $500 instantly.

You can win up to $10,000 playing this $10 scratch-off ticket. To play, scratch off each H on the Ho Ho Ho ticket or each F and A on the Fa La La ticket. If you reveal a mug symbol, you win the prize shown; If you reveal a reindeer symbol, you win 5X the prize shown. If you reveal a 10X symbol, you win 10 times the prize amount. If you reveal a 20X symbol, you win 20 times the prize amount. Reveal a 50X symbol to win 50 times the prize amount.
