When an anonymous Chardon lottery player received a coupon in the mail from the Ohio Lottery, they never dreamed that it would lead to a $1 million prize.

The coupon offered them a free $2 instant-win game if she purchased a $10 instant-win game. They took their coupon to the Marathon Gas Station located at 380 Center Street in Chardon and purchased a ten-dollar, $1,000,000 Payout instant-win ticket along with their free $2 ticket. When they scratched off the $10 ticket, they became an instant winner of a $1-million annuity prize.

The lucky winner opted for the top prize's $500,000 cash option payout. After tax withholdings, they will receive $360,000. The owner of the Chardon Marathon gas station received a $10,000 sales bonus.

How to play the $1,000,000 Payout instant-win game

This is a $10 instant-win game with a top prize of a $1 million annuity to be paid as $40,000 a year over 25 years or as a one-time lump sum payment. If you reveal a moneybag symbol, you win all 20 prizes. Don't forget to remove the bonus boxes. If you reveal a coin symbol in the first bonus box, you win the prize shown with that symbol. If you reveal a money symbol in the second bonus box, you reveal the prize shown for that symbol. The prize range for this game is $10, $15, $20, $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $10,000, $20,000, and $1 million.
