The lottery gods must have been smiling last night, as not one but two massive jackpot streaks came to an end! Florida Lotto players waited over five months for a winner, and in Oregon, patience finally paid off after three months of rollovers.

With millions in prizes won, it's a jackpot celebration from coast to coast — but could you be the one holding these winning tickets?

$43 million Florida Lotto jackpot winner

It has been over five months since the last Florida Lotto jackpot winner was crowned, but that long jackpot drought ended with last night's drawing. The winning numbers for last night's drawing were 7, 8, 24, 37, 43, and 49.

It took 46 draws, but one lucky ticket matched all of the winning numbers last night to win the $43 million jackpot. The winning ticket, which was a quick pick, free ticket, was purchased at Tom Thumb, located at 9595 Highway 98 in Destin, which is located in Florida's Panhandle, about 120 miles west of Tallahassee.

The last Florida Lotto jackpot win took place on August 7, 2024. For that drawing, one lucky ticket purchased in Kissimmee matched all the winning numbers to win the $20.5 million jackpot.

Claiming your prize in Florida

If you happen to be holding onto this jackpot-winning ticket, it must be claimed at the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Florida law requires that the following information be public record for lottery winners:

  • Full name
  • City of residence
  • Game, date, and amount won
  • Name and location of the retailer where the winning ticket was purchased

35-draw Megabucks jackpot run ends

Meanwhile, in Oregon, a 35-draw streak snapped for Oregon's Game Megabucks. The winning numbers for last night's drawing were 12, 21, 24, 26, 30, and 34.

It took 35 draws, but one lucky ticket matched all of the winning numbers last night to win the $4.4 million jackpot. The Oregon Lottery has not released any details about where the winning ticket was sold yet.

The last Oregon's Game Megabucks jackpot win came on October 26, 2024. During that draw, one lucky ticket matched all of the winning numbers to claim the $2.1 million jackpot.

Claiming your prize in Oregon

In the state of Oregon, any prize of $50,000 or above has to be claimed by appointment at either the Salem or Wilsonville Prize Payment Center locations. If you happen to be holding this jackpot-winning ticket, just call 800-766-6789 to schedule your appointment.

Keep in mind that both payment center locations are closed on all federal holidays.

Powerball jackpot run continues

While the jackpot runs ended for Florida Lotto and Oregon's Game Megabucks last night, the current Powerball jackpot run continues to march on. The winning numbers for last night's drawing were 8, 41, 52, 53, and 58, and the Powerball was 7 with a Power Play of 3X.

No tickets matched all of the winning numbers, so that jackpot increased to $331 million (cash value of $145.1 million) for the next drawing, taking place on Saturday, January 18.

The last Powerball jackpot win took place on December 7, 2024. For that drawing, one lucky ticket from New York matched all the winning numbers to win the $256 million jackpot. That means this current Powerball jackpot run is currently at 17 draws.

Enjoy playing the lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
