If you happen to purchase your lottery tickets in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Connecticut, or New Jersey, then you better pull out those old lottery tickets to see if you happen to be holding onto a jackpot-winning ticket because four big jackpots are looking for their owners!

The Pennsylvania jackpot

Up first is a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket from the Pennsylvania Lottery. This jackpot-winning ticket was just recently sold for the Sunday, October 13, drawing.

The winning numbers for that October 13 drawing were 5, 9, 38, 39, and 43, and the lucky winner matched all five of the winning balls drawn to win $450,000 less withholding. The winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz, located at 3838 Route 30 in Latrobe, which earned a $500 bonus from the state lottery for selling the winning ticket.

For the main Cash 5 game, prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. If you happen to be holding the jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket, lottery officials said you should contact your nearest lottery office for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.

In addition to the jackpot-winning ticket, there were also more than 10,100 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets that also won prizes in that October 13 drawing, so make sure you are checking those tickets to claim your winnings!

The Illinois jackpot

The Illinois Lottery announced they are looking for the owner of an unclaimed Lucky Day Lotto ticket, which was purchased in Chicago in October 2023. Now, this lucky winner has less than two weeks to claim their prize, or they miss out on this jackpot!

The winning ticket was purchased for the October 29, 2023, Lucky Day Lotto drawing. The winning numbers for that midday drawing were 5, 15, 24, 31, and 34. The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Fairplay Finer Foods, located at 2200 South Western Avenue in Chicago.

This winning ticket matched all five of the winning numbers drawn to win the $250,000 jackpot. With only two weeks left to claim the prize, lottery officials are urging anyone who thinks they may have purchased a Lucky Day Lotto ticket for last year's October 29 drawing to check every possible area of their house, the pockets of any old clothes, or any other spot you may hide your lottery tickets.

Lottery officials said this unclaimed Lucky Day Lotto ticket is one of seven Illinois Lottery prizes currently unclaimed. These seven unclaimed prizes total almost $4.5 million, so don't let that money slip away lucky winners!

The Connecticut jackpot

For those Connecticut Lottery players, there is a jackpot-winning Cash5 ticket out there unclaimed and it expires in one week!

The winning ticket, which was purchased at Burnside Smoke Shop and Convenience, located at 487 Burnside Avenue in East Hartford, is worth $100,000 and was from the April 25, 2024, drawing. The winning numbers for that drawing were 1, 4, 14, 16, and 29. The lucky winner matched all five of the numbers drawn to win the $100,000 jackpot.

In Connecticut, winning tickets have to be claimed by 180 days from the date of the drawing. This lucky winner has until October 22, 2024, to claim their prize, which can be done by going to any lottery retailer in the state and having your ticket validated. They can also go directly to lottery headquarters in Wallingford to claim their prize.

The New Jersey jackpot

The last jackpot looking for an owner is a new one out of New Jersey. One lucky ticket matched all five of the numbers drawn for the Monday, October 14, drawing of Jersey Cash 5 to win the $404,029 jackpot.

The winning numbers for that drawing were 7, 21, 23, 36, and 39, and the XTRA number was 2. The Bullseye number was 21.

If you played Jersey Cash 5 last night and happened to purchase your tickets at Acme #1787, located at 455 Route 23 North in Sussex, then you should check your ticket because you may have the big winner. For selling the winning ticket, Acme #1787 will receive a $2,000 bonus from the state lottery.

Enjoy playing the lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
