The New Hampshire Lottery is waiting for the lucky winner of the March 4, 2024, Megabucks drawing to come forward and claim their $13.9 million jackpot prize. If you purchased a Megabucks ticket for that drawing from the Milton Mart located at 16 Commerce Way, Milton, it could be you.

The winning ticket matched all five winning numbers, and the Mega Ball won the jackpot. The winning numbers were 2, 10, 23, 28, 32, and Mega Ball number 1. The lucky winner has the option to take their winning in annuity payments over 30 years, or a one-time, lump sum payment.

In his press announcement, Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said, “There is nothing better than a New Hampshire winner! Tri-State Megabucks continues to be one of our players’ favorite games, and we cannot wait to meet New Hampshire’s newest multi-millionaire.

How to play Megabucks

The Tri-State Megabucks game costs $2 per play. Each play consists of a two-part panel. You can purchase a single ticket for up to 20 drawings by picking the amount in the draw column. Your total ticket cost will depend on the number of panels and drawings you choose to play.

To play, select five numbers between 1 and 41 in the upper section and one number between 1 and 6 in the lower section of the play slip. If you do not wish to choose your numbers, you can mark the Easy Pick box on the play slip, and the computer will randomly select your numbers for you.

You can purchase Megabucks tickets from your local lottery retailer until 7.50 p.m. ET or online until 7.48 p.m. ET on the evening of the drawing.

Drawings are held three days a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. You can find the results of each drawing on the New Hampshire Lottery website or at your local lottery retailer shortly after the drawing. They will also be in your local newspaper and on the radio and TV.

Other New Hampshire lottery games

As well as Megabucks, the New Hampshire Lottery hosts the following draw games:

  • Pick 3
  • Pick 4
  • Powerball

You can also choose from more than 80 instant-win games from $1 to $25 with top prizes of up to $2 million and more than 100 iLottery games, which you can play at the NH Lottery website or on the app on your smartphone.

How the lottery helps New Hampshire

The New Hampshire Lottery has been helping to fund public education throughout the state since 1964. To date, more than $2.3 billion of lottery revenue has been donated to New Hampshire schools. From each dollar you spend on lottery tickets, 29 cents goes to aid education.
