Big games and big prizes won in New Jersey this past week

If you bought any lottery tickets this past week and live in New Jersey, you may be sitting on a big winner.

The New Jersey Lottery announced that from March 18, 2024, through March 24, 2024, 19 lottery players took home draw game prizes of $10,000 or more.

The big winners

In a press release from the New Jersey Lottery, they announced the 19 games that saw the big wins this past week. The prizes and where they were purchased are as follows:

  • $204,290 prize from Jersey Cash 5 drawing on March 18 - Winning ticket sold at Krauszers on 546 Park Ave in Freehold.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 18 - Winning ticket sold at Hanover Mart on 209 Hanover Street in Pemberton.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 18 - Winning ticket sold at Krauszer's #281 on 150 7th St. in Clifton.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 19 - Winning ticket sold at Max's Liquor #1 on 3275 U.S. Highway 9 in Freehold.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 19 - Winning ticket sold at ShopRite #626 on 3120 State Route 35 in Hazlet.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 19 - Winning ticket sold at Krauszer's Foods in Budd Lake.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 19 - Winning ticket sold at Araks on 1282 Stuyvesant in Union.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 20 - Winning ticket sold at Amazonia Multiservice on 182 Wilson Ave. in Newark.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 20 - Winning ticket sold at Krauszer Food Store on 10 Old Highway 22 in Clinton.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 20 - Winning ticket sold at Wawa #8360 on 1300 Sylvia Avenue in Ewing.
  • $219,460 prize from Jersey Cash 5 drawing on March 21 - Winning ticket sold at Jackpocket on 355 Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 22 - Winning ticket sold at 7-Eleven #11463 on 356 Rifle Camp Road in Woodland Park.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 22 - Winning ticket sold at Jersey Bagel & Food Mart on 609 Sicklerville Road in Sicklerville.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 22 - Winning ticket sold at 7-Eleven #24447 on 469 Passaic St. in Hackensack.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 22 - Winning ticket sold at Shoprite #626 on 3120 State Route 35 in Madison.
  • $10,000 prize from Mega Millions drawing on March 22 - Winning ticket sold at Quick Chek #50 on 233 Main Street in Madison.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 23 - Winning ticket sold at Shoprite Liquor on 220 W. Passaic St. in Rochelle Park.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 23 - Winning ticket sold at Tex's Liquor Store on 1157 U.S. Hwy 202 in Branchburg.
  • $50,000 prize from Powerball drawing on March 23 - Winning ticket sold at Swartswood Deli in Newton.

As you can see from the majority of the big wins, there is a lot of excitement around the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots, but rightfully so when the jackpots have been so high recently!
