Palmetto Cash 5 - how does it work?
Palmetto Cash 5 is a daily draw game from the South Carolina Lottery. The draws occur every day at 6:59 p.m. ET.
To play, you need to pick five numbers from 1 to 42, or you can use the Quick Pick option and allow the computer to generate numbers for you. It costs $2 per play, and each play will have a randomly assigned Multiplier number printed on it. These Multiplier numbers will be either 2, 3, 5, or 10. This Multiplier will multiply any non-jackpot prize a player wins.
For Palmetto Cash 5, there are four prize categories. The prizes start when a player matches two numbers, winning $1. For matching three numbers, a player wins $5. For matching four numbers, a player wins $300. If a player matches all five numbers, they win the jackpot, which starts at $100,000 and increases by a minimum of $10,000 each time it's not won.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 850,668. The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 10.
