One lucky ticket has brought New Jersey’s Pick-6 game back into the spotlight, ending a six-month jackpot drought with a massive $32 million win. After 63 drawings without a jackpot winner, someone finally matched all six winning numbers in last night's drawing.

Lottery officials have confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased in Ocean County. Could it be you holding the ticket to this huge payday?

One lucky ticket ends the jackpot drought

The last Pick-6 jackpot win took place on June 13, 2024, when one ticket won the $3 million jackpot at that time. The jackpot has been growing ever since and made its way up to $32 million for last night's drawing.

After 63 drawings, one lucky ticket matched all the winning numbers in last night’s drawing to win the $32 million jackpot. The cash value for this prize is $14.3 million. The winning numbers for last night's drawing were 4, 11, 12, 15, 27, and 39.

The winning ticket was purchased at Quick Mart, located at 665 Bennetts Mills Road in Jackson. For selling the winning ticket, the lucky retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus from the state lottery.

How does this jackpot stack up?

As we stated, it's been over six months since the previous Pick-6 winner claimed their jackpot. So, how does this jackpot stack up to previous Pick-6 jackpot winners?

Well, the biggest jackpot for this New Jersey-exclusive draw game is $48.9 million, which was won by a ticket purchased in Clifton in 2002. Pick-6 made its debut in 1980.

Looking back at this past year, there were only three Pick-6 jackpots won. The first came on March 28, 2024, when two players evenly split a $30 million jackpot. Then, we saw two more players split a $4.9 million jackpot during the May 13, 2024, drawing. Shortly after that win, one lucky player matched all the winning numbers to win the $3 million jackpot on June 13, 2024.

It has been growing ever since and finally saw a winner in last night's drawing. Now, the jackpot resets to $2 million for the next drawing, taking place on Thursday, January 23, at 10:57 p.m. EST.

No jackpot droughts in Jersey Cash 5

While there was a six month drought of jackpot winners in the Pick-6 draw game, the Jersey Cash 5 draw game is having the opposite effect. We are only 21 days into this new year, and there have already been five jackpot winners for this other state-exclusive draw game.

Here is a breakdown of the jackpot wins so far in 2025 for Jersey Cash 5 players:

  • January 2 – A $657,679 jackpot won with a ticket purchased at Murphy's Market, located at 381 Medford Lakes Road in Tabernacle.
  • January 3 – A $150,000 jackpot won with a ticket purchased at the One Stop Super Market located in Orange.
  • January 11 – A $995,257 jackpot won with a ticket purchased at Villa Deli Mini Mart, located at 198 4th Street in Jersey City.
  • January 14 – A $248,541 jackpot won with a ticket purchased at Hazlet Exxon, located at 3328 Route 35 South in Hazlet.
  • January 17 – A $260,842 jackpot won.

While these numbers seem impressive, it looks like January has some ground to make up compared to last year. In 2024, there were seven Cash 5 jackpot winners in January. We are at five right now, but there are still 10 more days left in the month to get past those seven wins. For the entire year, we saw 76 Cash 5 jackpot wins in 2024.
