If you buy your Virginia Lottery tickets in Mechanicsville, it's time to check your tickets!

The jackpot-winning ticket

Somewhere out there, there is a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with EZ Match ticket that matched all five of the winning numbers in the Tuesday, June 11, drawing. With that win, that ticket is now worth $1.62 million.

The winning numbers for the June 11 drawing were 1, 12, 19, 22, and 31, and the winning ticket matched all five numbers. The winning ticket was purchased at Wawa, located at 7847 Compass Point Lane in Mechanicsville.

Whoever is holding onto this jackpot-winning ticket has 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize with the Virginia Lottery.

Cash 5 with EZ Match features a rolling jackpot that starts out at a minimum of $200,000. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 1.22 million.

This Virginia Lottery player won $500,000 on a scratcher

A winning streak led this Virginia Lottery player to a $500,000 win!

Donald Rice recently claimed his winnings and told Virginia Lottery officials that he won $20 playing a Virginia Lottery scratcher game. When he cashed in that winning ticket, he decided to buy another one. That time, Rice got even luckier and won $50.

He decided to see if he could keep the win streak going, so he bought a pair of $500,000 Spectacular tickets, a $5 instant ticket from the Virginia Lottery. One of those tickets happened to win the top prize for the game: $500,000.

Rice told Lottery officials:

I looked. I looked again. I said, "Okay, it's legit! It's real!"

Rice bought the winning ticket at Jarratt Fas-Shop Food Mart, located at 398 Blue Star Highway in Jarratt.

The $500,000 Spectacular game features prizes ranging from $5 to $500,000. Rice is the second person to claim the top prize for the game, which means there is still one more top prize-winning ticket out there.

The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 1.35 million, and the overall odds of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 4.18.

Virginia Lottery online players cashing in also

The winning continues for Virginia Lottery players, this time for a lucky lady playing a Virginia Lottery game on her personal device. She was sitting at home with a cup of coffee when she won $146,105 playing the Cash Buster Multiplies game.

Naiyimai Abuduwaili told Lottery officials:

I always feel that I'm going to win big.

That feeling definitely paid off this time, as the Chantilly woman hit it big that day. When describing the moment to Virginia Lottery officials, she said:

Boom - it just happened!

The Cash Buster Multiplier game is one of dozens of online instant games available on the Virginia Lottery app and on the Virginia Lottery website. The online game features a progressive, growing jackpot. The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 4.64.

Enjoy playing the Virginia Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
