Lottery players have two shots at nine-figure fortunes this weekend. Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots have climbed to a combined $1.3 billion, and several state games are stacking up sizable prizes of their own.
Mega Millions climbs to $743 million
Tonight's Mega Millions jackpot sits at $743 million. The cash option comes in at $323.4 million.
A winner tonight would claim the tenth-largest Mega Millions jackpot in the game's history. The jackpot hasn't been hit since March 17, when a ticket sold in Ohio took home $60 million. Tonight marks the 37th drawing since that win.
Powerball jackpot hits $600 million
Saturday's Powerball jackpot stands at $600 million, with a cash option of $266.4 million.
A win this weekend would be the sixth Powerball jackpot claimed in 2026, and the largest one yet this year. The last winning ticket surfaced on May 2, when players in Florida and Texas split a $20 million prize. Saturday's drawing will be the 36th since then.
Other jackpots worth a look
Mega Millions and Powerball aren't the only games paying out big this weekend. A handful of state lotteries have jackpots worth chasing, too.
California's SuperLotto Plus reaches $40 million
California's SuperLotto Plus jackpot stands at $40 million, with a cash value of $17.5 million. This is currently the biggest state lottery jackpot in the country. The next drawing lands Saturday, July 25. Draws happen Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:45 p.m. Pacific Time, and ticket sales close 30 minutes earlier, at 7:15 p.m. PT.
Indiana's Hoosier Lotto climbs to $30.2 million
Indiana's Hoosier Lotto jackpot has reached an estimated $30.2 million, second only in the country to California's SuperLotto Plus. The average jackpot across sits at $13.19 million. Drawings happen on Wednesdays and Saturdays around 11:00 p.m. ET, and ticket sales close at 10:39 p.m. ET.
The game's biggest win came in 2007, when a retired steelworker from East Chicago, Indiana, took home $54.5 million and chose the $40.4 million cash option. More recent wins include $44 million in December 2023, claimed on a ticket sold in Speedway, and $42.5 million in March 2025, won on a free-play ticket in Tell City. The game's original record, $42 million from June 1999, held for more than eight years.
Massachusetts Megabucks jackpot set to break a 40-year record
Massachusetts Megabucks has an estimated jackpot of $24.65 million heading into Saturday's drawing at 9 p.m. ET.
A win on Saturday would set a new record for the game. The current record has stood since October 15, 1985, when a $21.7 million jackpot was split among eight tickets. At the time, it was the third-largest jackpot in U.S. history.
Lotto Texas jackpot reaches $22.25 million
Lotto Texas players are chasing an estimated $22.25 million jackpot in Saturday's drawing. The average jackpot for Lotto Texas is $29.86 million. So far, this pot has been on a run for 156 draws. Drawings happen at 10:12 p.m. Central Time, with ticket sales closing at 10:02 p.m. CT.
No matter which jackpot you strive for, remember to play responsibly.
