Millionaire for Life

Millionaire for Life is a new multi-state game set to launch on February 22, 2026, created by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) and participating state lotteries.

Players will pick five numbers from 1 to 58 and an extra number from 1 to 5 for a chance to win up to $1,000,000 a year for life. Draws will take place daily, and tickets will cost $5 per play. The game will have nine prize tiers, and the winners of the two top prizes will have to choose between a lifetime annuity or a one-time cash payout.

The $1,000,000 per year for life prize, with a cash option of $18,000,000, will make this game the biggest lottery game in the United States with a lifetime prize.

It is expected that in participating states, this game will replace the two current multi-state games with prizes for life: Cash4Life and Lucky for Life.

The top prize is an annuity of $1,000,000 a year for life.

Top and second prize winners can choose between an annuity lasting 20 years or a one-time cash option. If there are 21 or more winners at either prize level, all winners must take the lump sum cash payment (no annuity option available). If there are multiple winners for the top or second prize, the prize amount will be divided equally among them.

The cash lump sum option represents the current available prize money. The annuity also takes into consideration the interest that the cash will generate over the time period during which the annuity is paid.

You have a 1 in 22,910,580 chance of winning the Millionaire for Life top prize.

Millionaire for Life has nine different prize categories.
