The Powerball jackpot is heading into Monday night's drawing at its highest level of 2026 after no ticket matched all six numbers this past weekend. While the game's top prize rolled over to an estimated $633 million, six players across the country still had plenty to celebrate after matching all five white balls to win $1 million each. Meanwhile, players in the United Kingdom are still waiting for their first major Powerball breakthrough following the game's recent international launch.
Six new millionaires crowned
For the Saturday, July 25, 2026, drawing, the winning white ball numbers were 3, 4, 24, 36, and 47, and the Powerball number was 17. The Power Play was 4X.
While no tickets matched all six of the winning numbers to win the estimated $613 million jackpot, we did have some new millionaires formed over the weekend.
Six tickets happened to match all five of the winning white balls, but missed out on matching the Powerball. That means those six players all won $1 million. The winning Match 5 tickets were sold in:
- California
- Florida
- Illinois
- New York
- Pennsylvania
- Texas
None of the winning Match 5 tickets included the Power Play option, which is just $1 more per play. If they had, it would have doubled their prize to $2 million.
In addition to the Match 5 winners, there were over 1 million additional players who won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. That just shows Powerball drawings often create plenty of winners even when the jackpot rolls over.
Biggest Powerball jackpot of the year
With no jackpot win on Saturday, the estimated jackpot for Monday night's drawing is $633 million. This happens to be the biggest Powerball jackpot offered this year.
This jackpot surpasses the previous by a lot. The previous high was $251 million, which was won on March 2, 2026, by one lucky ticketholder in Arizona.
When the jackpot is won, the winner will get the chance to choose between receiving the full jackpot paid out as a 30-year annuity or taking a one-time lump sum cash payment, which would be $277.3 million before taxes right now.
This applies to all U.S. players. If someone in the U.K. happens to win this jackpot, they have to take the payout over 30 years. No lump sum payment option for U.K. players.
UK players are still waiting for a big win
Saturday's drawing was just the second drawing for U.K. players. After two drawings, U.K. players are still looking for a big win.
Although players overseas once again had the chance to compete for the Powerball jackpot, no U.K. ticket matched all six numbers or all five of the white balls drawn to win a top-tier prize. The country is still on the hunt for one of those big winning tickets.
Next drawing set for Monday night
Since there was no jackpot winner over the weekend, all eyes now turn to tonight's drawing. The jackpot has climbed to $633 million.
Whether someone hits all the winning numbers tonight or not, Saturday's drawing proves that you do not need to win the jackpot to walk away with a life-changing prize when playing Powerball. Six players became instant millionaires overnight, so what will tonight's drawing bring us?
