Dare you to take on the dragon? If you play the Ocean State's new eInstant game, Dragon Spawn, between now and January 24, you have a chance to win $25 in iLottery Bonus Money. 25 players will win. The iLottery money cannot be withdrawn but can be used to play Keno and other eInstant games.

How to play Dragon Spawn

Dragon Spawn is the Rhode Island Lottery’s latest online instant-win game with an exciting new theme. The object of the game is to collect clusters of matching symbols to win prizes. To play, go to the Rhode Island Lottery website. Find the game and click Play to get started. First, select how much money you would like to wager. You can choose 50 cents, $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, or $20. You can then click play. A range of symbols will appear in the play area. You have one chance to win. The top prize is $10,000.

How to win

If three or more identical symbols connect in the play area, they create a cluster. Each cluster adds a prize to your winnings. The prize will depend on the symbols and the number of symbols connected in the cluster. Each winning cluster is removed from the play area and replaced with more symbols. If the symbols create new clusters, the prize will be added to your winnings, and new symbols will appear. This continues until no more clusters appear.

  • Free turns bonus: If you reveal three dragon symbols anywhere in the play area, you get three free turns. During the free turns, Sticking Wilds symbols appear in the play area and will stay in place. During the next turns, they will switch positions in the play area, giving you an extra chance to create clusters. The first free play contains one Sticking Wild Symbol, the second free play contains two Sticking Wild Symbols, and the third free play contains three Sticking Wild Symbols.
  • Battle bonus: If you reveal a lock and key symbol anywhere in the play area, you trigger the Battle Bonus. Select a door to begin. There are three bonus rounds during which two dragons cast spells at each other. Each spell they cast reduces the energy in their health meters. The aim of each round is for each dragon to try to conquer the other by depleting their health. In the first round, your dragon goes first. They alternate in each round. After each round, the winning dragon's health meter refills. After the battle Bonus rounds have been completed, whichever dragon has a full health meter is the winner.

The Dragon Spawn game ends when there are no clusters left in the play area, and all the bonus rounds have been completed. Enjoy playing Dragon Spawn, and remember to play responsibly.
