The buzz surrounding the Powerball game continues, as last night's drawing had players trying to take home the $456 million jackpot.

While the current jackpot run continues, as there were no winners in last night's drawing, there were two lucky players who won the second-tier prize of $1 million. Find out where those lucky players purchased their tickets below.

What were the winning Powerball numbers last night?

For the Monday, October 21, drawing, the winning white ball numbers were 1, 25, 57, 62, and 62, and the Powerball number was 15. The Power Play was 2X.

Heading into the night, the estimated jackpot was $456 million, with the cash value being $219.8 million.

Did anyone win the Powerball jackpot last night?

While the excitement around the Powerball jackpot means more people are buying tickets, it didn't mean there was a winning ticket sold. No ticket purchased for last night's drawing matched all six of the numbers to win the $456 million.

There were also no tickets that matched all five of the winning white ball numbers and purchased the Power Play option to win $2 million.

However, there were two tickets that did match all five of the winning white ball numbers without the Power Play option to win $1 million. Those tickets were sold in Florida and Texas, so some new millionaires will be coming out soon in those states.

What are the odds of winning the Powerball?

If you are trying your luck at the Powerball game, the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million. For those lucky players who won the $1 million, the odds of winning that prize level are 1 in 11.7 million.

In addition to the two $1 million winners in last night's drawing, there were plenty of other players who won money. A breakdown of the other Powerball prize winners can be seen here:

For those interested, Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and are available for purchase in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

With no winner in last night's drawing, the Powerball jackpot now stands at an estimated $478 million with a cash value of $230.5 million for the Wednesday, October 23, 2024, drawing.
