Lucky Powerball player Danny Buckelew of Treynor has finally collected his $2 million prize from the lottery drawing on October 7, 2023.

Danny matched all five white balls in the drawing. The winning numbers were 47, 54, 57, 60, 65 and Powerball number 19. The Power Play number was 3. Danny's initial prize was $1 million, but it was doubled because he added the Power Play option, which multiplied his winnings to $2 million. He purchased his ticket from Casey's, located at 403 Stephans Street in Tiffin. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Danny finally claimed his prize on January 17, 2024, from the lottery headquarters in Clive.

Another Iowa $2 Powerball prize remains unclaimed

Danny Buckelew claimed his $2 million before the winning ticket expired. Let's hope the winner of another outstanding $2 million Powerball ticket will do the same. The winning ticket matched all five white balls in the drawing on November 25, 2023. The winning numbers were 27, 33, 63, 66, 68, and Powerball number 9.

If you purchased a Powerball ticket for that drawing from Clinton Liquor, located at 1641 South Bluff Boulevard in Clinton, check your tickets; you could be the lucky winner. If you are, you have until the close of business on May 23, 2024, to claim your winnings from the Iowa Lottery headquarters in Clive.
