Montana winners claim $80,000 in combined prizes

Luck is certainly in the air for Montana Lottery players this past week. The Treasure State is living up to its name with more than six top-tier lottery prize winners since March 4. Here’s a rundown of the winners and their prizes:

  • $50,000 Powerball prize: The winner, a resident of Great Falls, purchased the winning ticket from Schulte’s 38th Street Store & Coffee House located at 3800 3rd Avenue. The prize was claimed on March 7.
  • $30,000 Bonus Match Bingo prize: Another Great Falls player won this prize. They purchased it from the Loaf ‘N Jug located at 1225 Central Avenue West in Great Falls. The prize was claimed on March 4.
  • $14,000 Montana Crossword jackpot: The $14,000 jackpot from this instant win game was won by a resident of Roundup. The winning ticket was purchased from the Express Stop located at 701 1st Avenue West in Roundup.  The prize was claimed on March 4.
  • $11,596 Big Sky Bonus prize: A lucky Stevensville player purchased this winning ticket from the Burnt Fork Market located at 601 Main Street in Stevensville. The prize was claimed on March 8.
  • $5,006 Lucky for Life prize: This prize was won by a player in Roundup. The winning ticket was purchased from the Superpumper located at 1219 Main Street in Billings. The prize was claimed on March 8.
  • $5,003 Lucky for Life prize: A Billings player took home this prize. The winning ticket was purchased from the Superpumper on 1240 South 27th Street in Billings. The prize was claimed on March 7.

What the Montana Lottery has on offer

Montana Lottery players can participate in several drawing games including:

  • Powerball 
  • Mega Millions
  • Big Sky Bonus
  • Lotto America
  • Lucky for Life
  • Montana Cash with Max Cash

 

Also available are Treasure Play instant-win games and a variety of Montana Scratch games. Players can also register for free with the Montana Lottery Players Club. Members can use special Bonus Play codes found on their Lotto or Scratch games to enter exclusive weekly drawings for a chance to win cash prizes. Players Club members also have access to Second Chance drawings with non-winning tickets from select games, as well as updates on new games and other events. Make a note on your calendar for the new Lucky Every Day Cash Giveaway that will be starting on April 1, 2024. The Montana Lottery will be giving away $1,000 every day until April 12, 2024.

How the lottery helps Montana

Since the Montana Lottery was launched in 1986, it has contributed more than $853 million in prizes to players throughout the state. It has also donated an estimated $320 million to the State of Montana General Fund. This money is used to support programs such as scholarships for Montana students who are studying for degrees in science, technology, engineering, healthcare, and math at Montana colleges and universities.
