March madness: Montana Lottery awards over $220,000 in high-tier prizes

The big wins continue for lottery players in Montana!

Players in the Montana Lottery have a lot of reasons to celebrate. Since March 11, the Lottery announced they have handed out $220,806 in high-tier prizes!

A high-tier prize in the Montana Lottery is any prize of $600 or more.

High-tier prize winners since March 11

In a press release from the Montana Lottery, they shared a list of the winners of $5,000 or more. Those winners are:

  • $20 Loaded Progressive winner from Great Falls — they claimed their prize of $110,813 on March 11. The winning ticket was purchased at the Frontier Inn on 3317 Vaughn Road in Great Falls.
  • Fireball Slingo winner from Anaconda — they claimed their prize of $30,000 on March 15. The winning ticket was purchased at the Town Pump of Anaconda on 6940 Highway 1 West.
  • $20 Loaded Progressive winner from Billings — they claimed their prize of $25,573 on March 14. The winning ticket was purchased at the Magic Diamond Casino & Liquor Store on 261 East Airport Road in Billings.
  • Shake A Day winner from Great Falls — they claimed their prize of $18,281 on March 15. The winning ticket was purchased at the Silver Spur Saloon in Vaughn.
  • Millionaire Maker winner from Ronan — they claimed their prize of $5,000 on March 14. The winning ticket was purchased at the Missoula Flying J on 8745 Highway 93 North.
  • Millionaire Maker winner from Rollins — they claimed their prize of $5,000 on March 11. The winning ticket was purchased at Aries Gas and Grocery in Lakeside.

How to play Millionaire Maker

Making the list twice was Millionaire Maker, which is one of the scratch games offered by the Montana Lottery. Millionaire Maker is a $30 ticket, and it gives players up to 33 times to win!

For the main game, players need to match any of their 30 numbers to any of the winning numbers. If they do, they win the prize shown for that number. If they happen to scratch a “stack of coins” symbol, they win that prize automatically. Get a “2X” symbol and win two times the prize shown. Get a “5X” symbol and win five times the prize shown. Get a “10X” symbol and win 10 times the prize shown.

The scratcher also offers three bonus games for a chance to win $50, $100, or $200. To win $50, the player must scratch a diamond symbol in the playing spot. To win $100, the player must scratch a crown symbol in the playing spot. To win $200, the player must scratch a ring symbol in the playing spot. Reveal a diamond, crown, and ring in each specific game and win $350!

Millionaire Maker offers players over 29 different prize amounts to win, ranging from a free $30 ticket to the top prize of $1 million. There are over $3.2 million in total cash prizes available for the game, and the overall odds of winning on the ticket are 1 in 3.06.
