An anonymous player from Bay County has won $1 million playing the Michigan Lottery's Cash is Queen scratch-off ticket.

The ticket was purchased from Jack's Fruit Market, located at 1000 Salzburg Avenue in Bay City. He opted to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of $693,000 and plans to use the money to pay off his mortgage and add to his savings.

In an interview with the Michigan Lottery, the 58-year-old winner said:

I had been to Jack's earlier in the day and bought a couple of tickets. I had to return an item later in the day and decided to buy a couple more tickets, and one of those was the $1 million winner.
