Sometimes, cake is the only thing that hits the spot. That's how it was for a 44-year-old anonymous player from Tuscola County, Michigan.

The man won a $260,975 Big Cash 2nd Chance jackpot and celebrated his big win with his favorite dessert. In an interview with the Michigan Lottery, he said:

I have been playing the eligible BIG CA$H online games, hoping to win the big jackpot. When I saw an email from the lottery notifying me that I had won, a feeling of relief instantly came over me. Winning this prize came at the perfect time.

The player had earned entries into a second chance giveaway by playing eligible online BIG CA$H Jackpot games. He won the money when he was selected in a random drawing on January 10. He recently visited lottery headquarters to claim his prize, which he intends to invest in real estate.

How to participate in the Big Cash 2nd Chance

If you want a second chance to win a BIG CA$H jackpot, you can enter by playing select games. The number of entries you receive depends on the amount you wager on the games. Every $0.50 you wager will earn you one entry into the Monthly Big Cash 2nd Chance Jackpot Drawing for the current month.

Eligible games include:

  • Triple Eagle Bonus
  • Big Cash Catch
  • Hot 7s
  • Cash Vault
  • Viva Las Jackpots
  • Michigan Multiplier Wilds
  • Lucky Start
  • Mystery Vault
  • Jackpot Monthly

Once the entry period has closed, a drawing will take place to select one random winner from that month's entries. Your entries only remain valid for the month during which they were earned. A new drawing period begins each month, and the progressive Second Chance jackpot is reset at $5,000. One drawing period remains, that is, January 1 to January 31, 2024. The drawing date will be February 14, 2024. You can view your current entries by visiting the Michigan Lottery website and logging into your account.
