Rod Cunningham, a 49-year-old Lake Orian resident, won $160,405 from the Jackpot Slots Fast Cash Progressive Jackpot on November 27. Rod purchased the ticket at Old Detroit Bar and Grille, located at 741 South Lapeer Road in Lake Orion.

Cunningham told the Michigan Lottery:

I was at my local bar and bought two Fast Cash tickets. One was a non-winning ticket, and I thought the other was too, but I didn't have my glasses on, so I scanned them both on the app to be safe. When I scanned the second ticket and the prize amount of $160,405 came up on the screen, I just about lost it. Within a few minutes, everyone in the bar knew and was celebrating with me. It was such a fun experience.

Rod said he wants to use his winnings to finish his home improvements and save the rest for the future.

What are Fast Cash games?

The Great Lake State offers a range of Fash Cash instant-win games that you can print from a terminal at your local lottery retailers. The price for Fast Cash tickets ranges from $2 up to $20 per play. Fast Cash games have a progressive jackpot. This means that each time the game is played, but no one wins the jackpot, it increases. Each time you play Fash Cash, you have a chance to win all or a portion of the jackpot. The amount you stand to win is printed on your ticket when you purchase it. When a jackpot is claimed, another begins to grow.
