Massachusetts Lottery player wins big with 100X Cash

Paul Riley of Peabody, Massachusetts, recently became the second $4 million prize winner from a 100X Cash scratch-off ticket. He purchased the ticket from Summit Variety, located at 145-A Summit Street in Peabody.

On January 16, 2024, Paul traveled with his faithful dog Raven to the Massachusetts headquarters in Dorchester, where he chose to claim his winnings as a one-time lump-sum payment of $2,600,000 before tax withholdings. A devoted lover of animals, Paul plans to donate a portion of his winning to the Animal Rescue League. He also intends to buy his wife a new car.

How to play Massachusetts Lottery 100X Cash

100X Cash is a $10 instant win ticket with a top prize of $4 million. This jackpot may be taken as a one-time lump sum payment or as an annuity paid at $200,000 a year for 20 years. To play, remove the six X symbols to reveal the winning numbers. Then, remove the 15 dollar symbols to reveal your numbers. If any of your numbers match the winning numbers, you win the prize amount shown by that number. Remove the stacks of cash symbols to reveal the bonus numbers. If the bonus numbers match the winning numbers, you win the prize shown. If you get a 5X, 10X, 20X, 50X, or 100X symbol, you can multiply your prize by that amount. If you reveal a moneybag symbol, you win all twenty prizes shown on the ticket.

The following instant-win tickets are also part of this family of games:

  • 20X Cash: A $2 instant-win game with a top prize of $100,000.
  • 50X Cash: A $5 instant-win game with a top prize of $1 million.
  • 300X Cash: A $30 instant-win game with a top prize of $15 million.

Massachusetts Lottery player promotions

Beginning in February and continuing for the next few months, members of the Massachusetts Lottery Red Carpet VIP Club who register for a free Mass Lottery account will be eligible to enter a range of Second Chance Drawings as well as this other promotion.

Red Carpet VIP Club members can still enter this promotion until February 5, 2024. for a chance to win up to $10,000. Enter non-winning tickets from the following games:

  • $1 $5,000 Snow Much Money
  • $2 $100,000 Snow Much Money
  • $5 $1,000,000 Snow Much Money
  • $10 Cold Cash Blowout
  • $10 $50,000 Winter Green

The prizes include $10,000, $2,500 (2), $1,000 (20), and $500 (30).
