She purchased the winning ticket from Casey's General Store #3023, located at 505 West Trimble Avenue in Berryville. While Tessa was taking a trip with her granddaughter, she stopped at Casey's General Store to get gas. While she was there, she bought two More Money scratch-off tickets and two other lottery games. She waited until she got home to scratch off her tickets. As she slowly revealed the symbols on her More Money scratch-off, she became more and more excited.
In an interview with Arkansas Lottery officials, Tessa said, “There was one, then another one, and another one.”
When she realized she had won a big prize, she immediately called her husband. “You're not going to believe this,” she said.
