Yet another Michigan lottery player has won $25,000 a year for life

Lady Luck is still smiling at Michigan lottery players. An eighth Michigan player in three months has won $25,000 a Year for Life Playing Lucky For Life.

The player from Adrian purchased their ticket from the Morning Fresh Bakery, located at 3223 North Adrian Highway in Adrian. The Lucky For Life ticket matched all five white balls. The winning numbers in the drawing on Monday, April 29, were 12, 14, 16, 25, and 46.

If you are the lucky winner, you should reach out to the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325. Then, you can schedule an appointment to pick up your prize from the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their tickets.

Winners can either collect their prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment or as annual payments of $25,000 for a minimum of 20 years or for life, whichever is greater.

Previous Michigan Lucky For Life winners in 2024

Here's a rundown of the other seven Michigan players who have won $25,000 a Year for Life Playing Lucky For Life this year:

  • February 20: This ticket was purchased by a Flushing player from Borders Corner Store, located at 7024 East Pickard Road in Mount Pleasant.
  • March 12: This ticket was purchased online by an Escanaba player.
  • March 23: This ticket was purchased by a Redford Township woman from the Value Center Market, located at 27428 6 Mile Road in Livonia. 
  • March 25: This ticket was purchased online.
  • March 26: This ticket was purchased from Merriman Drugs, located at 31320 5 Mile Road in Livonia.
  • April 17: This ticket was purchased online.
  • April 19: This ticket was purchased from the Hub Sports Bistro, located at 16780 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township.

How to play Lucky For Life

You could be the next Lucky For Life winner if you play today. Each game is just $2 per play. To play, select five numbers from between 1 and 48 and one Lucky Ball number from between 1 and 18. If you prefer not to choose your own numbers, you can select a Quick Pick option, and the computer will randomly generate your numbers for you. If you match all five numbers and the Lucky Ball, you win $1,000 a day for life. If you match all five numbers without the Lucky Ball, you win $25,000 a year for life. Drawings take place every day at 10.38 p.m. Eastern Time.

Unclaimed Michigan lottery prizes

Two big Michigan lottery prizes remain unclaimed. Check your tickets from earlier this year to see if you are a winner:

  • $1 million Mega Millions: This ticket is from the drawing on January 16, 2024. The winning numbers were 2, 10, 42, 49, 54, and Mega Ball number 13. The winning ticket, which matched all five white balls, was purchased from Medina LLC, located at 19995 West Nine Mile Road in Southfield.
  • $842.4 million Powerball: This ticket is from the drawing on January 1, 2024. The winning numbers were 12, 21, 42, 44, 49, and 1 for the Powerball number. The winning ticket, which matched all six numbers, was purchased at the Food Castle located at 3035 East Grand Blanc Road in Grand Blanc.
