Wouldn't it be nice to know you have $25,000 a year coming your way without having to raise a finger to earn it? That's how it is for another lucky Michigan Lottery player who won big playing Lucky for Life.

The player won the drawing on Wednesday, April 17, by matching five white balls, numbers: 06, 09, 19, 27, and 42. The ticket was purchased online.

Lucky spotlight on Michigan players

Michigan players have been feeling the luck with Lucky for Life in 2024. The April 17 win is the sixth time this year that a Michigan player has scored a top prize with this game. Here's a rundown of the other $25,000 for life winners:

Diana Russell from Flushing recently claimed her prize from this drawing. She purchased the ticket from Borders Corner Store, located at 7024 East Pickard Road in Mount Pleasant. She matched the five white ball numbers 5, 7, 13, 37, and 39. In an interview with the Michigan Lottery, she said:

I pulled up to the gas station to purchase a ticket, but before going in, I checked the Lucky for Life ticket I had in my purse by scanning it on the Lottery app. When $25,000 a year for life came up on the screen, I was thrilled.

Tuesday, March 12

Patricia Royer from Escanaba won the $25,000 a year for life in this drawing by matching the five white ball numbers 3, 13, 24, 36, and 44. She purchased her ticket online. In an interview with lottery officials, she said:

My husband and I started playing Lucky for Life about a year ago, and we have loved playing it ever since. I won $200 a few months ago, so I have been using that to buy more tickets.

Saturday, March 23

After winning her Lucky for Life prize, all Cindy Dziurgot from Redford could say was, “Oh my! Oh my! Oh my!” She purchased her ticket from Value Center Market, located at 27428 Six Mile Road in Livonia. She matched the five white ball numbers 1, 3, 8, 13, and 29.

Monday, March 25

Lucky for Life winners have two options for claiming this prize. They can choose annual payments for a minimum of 20 years or life, whichever is greater. Alternatively, they can take a one-time lump sum cash payment of $390,000.

If you are one of the winners of the unclaimed Lucky for Life prizes, you should call the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect your prize. You'll have to travel to the lottery's headquarters in Lansing to collect your check. You have one year from the date of the drawing to claim your prize.
