After nearly six months of rollovers and wishful thinking, the streak of suspense for Colorado Lotto+ players has finally snapped, with a jackpot hit that's turning heads and changing bank accounts. Wednesday night's drawing didn't just deliver one winner; it delivered a double dose of luck, with two tickets scooping up massive prizes in different corners of the state.

One winner struck it rich with a jackpot that's been quietly snowballing since before the holidays. Meanwhile, another player cashed in big on a bonus draw.

The months-long wait is over

The last Colorado Lotto+ jackpot winner took place on November 13, 2024. After months of the jackpot rolling over, we finally have a new jackpot winner with a ticket purchased in Parker.

One lucky ticket purchased at QuikTrip, located at 16791 Market Street in Parker, matched all of the winning numbers to claim the $12.45 million jackpot, which has a cash value of $6.22 million. The winning numbers for last night's drawing were 5, 6, 15, 37, 38, and 40.

Plus winner also

In addition to the big jackpot winner, there was also a lucky ticket that matched all six of the winning Plus numbers to win the $250,000 top prize. That lucky ticket was purchased at Circle K, located at 17691 W. Colfax Avenue in Golden.

The winning Plus numbers for last night's drawing were 4, 12, 23, 26, 29, and 39.

Tickets for Colorado Lotto+ are $2 per play, but players can add on the Plus option for an additional $1 per play. The Plus option enters your numbers into an extra draw right after the main Lotto+ draw.

The current jackpot run

As we stated above, the last Colorado Lotto+ jackpot winner took place on November 13, 2024. At that time, the lucky winner took home the jackpot of $2.6 million.

The first drawing for this current jackpot run took place on November 16, 2024. After the jackpot win on November 13, the jackpot reset to $1 million.

That means the latest jackpot run lasted 71 drawings before last night's big winner. The jackpot had climbed all the way to $12.45 million.

Top Colorado Lotto+ jackpots

Colorado Lotto debuted for the Colorado Lottery in January 1989. In September 2019, lottery officials made some changes to the game, and its successor, Colorado Lotto+, debuted.

Colorado Lotto+ brought some new twists to the traditional lottery game, including a reduced number pool from 42 to 40, an increase in the price of tickets from $1 to $2, and the addition of the Plus option.

With that in mind, how does last night's jackpot win stack up compared to previous winners in the Colorado Lotto and Colorado Lotto+ history books? Check out the Top 3 jackpots here:

  1. $27 million won by Kim Walker of Boulder in 1992.
  2. $25 million split by two winners on January 19, 2022, drawing.
  3. $21 million won by Sharon R. of Denver in 2000.

While last night's winner didn't crack the Top 3 spots, they still did take home a pretty impressive prize, especially after months of the jackpot rolling over.

Enjoy playing the Colorado Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
