The second Lotto Texas jackpot winner of 2024 was a big win, with one lucky ticket holder in Austin winning the $29 million jackpot last night.

The jackpot-winning ticket

The jackpot-winning ticket came for the Monday, June 24, drawing of Lotto Texas. The winning numbers were 11, 21, 25, 30, 32, and 50, and the winning Quick Pick ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn.

The winning ticket was purchased at Salt Springs Xpress, located at 8101 Salt Springs Drive (Suite A) in Austin. The lucky ticket holder selected the cash values option at the time of purchase, so they will receive $16.64 million before taxes.

Claiming the prize

The prize has not yet been claimed, Texas Lottery officials said. The winner will have 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize.

Ryan Mindell, executive director of the Texas Lottery, said:

One of our Lotto Texas players had a Monday night like no other. We can't wait to meet and congratulate the game's second jackpot winner of the year. If you have the winning ticket, we encourage you to sign it, put it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery to schedule an appointment to claim your prize.

Other Lotto Texas winners

While there was a jackpot winner on the night, there were also quite a few other Lotto Texas tickets that took home some kind of prize. Lottery officials said 44,332 Lotto Texas tickets, including those with the Extra! Add-on feature won prizes.

These are the lower-tier prizes, which range from $2 up to $12,677. The next Lotto Texas drawing will be held on Wednesday, June 26, and the jackpot restarts at $5 million.

Lotto Texas - a quick overview

For those not familiar, Lotto Texas is a draw game held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. CT. To play, you need to select six numbers from 1 to 54 or select the Quick Pick option and let the computer generate the numbers for you. Players can also add on the Extra! Feature, which allows players to win up to $10,000 more on non-jackpot prizes.

Lotto Texas costs $1 per play and the Extra! Add-on feature is an additional $1 per play. The Lotto Texas jackpot starts out at $5 million and grows each draw until someone wins.

Texas also had a Powerball win last night

In addition to the big Lotto Texas win last night, there was also a Texas Lottery player who walked away with $50,000 playing Powerball.

While no single ticket matched all six of the Powerball numbers for the Monday, June 24, drawing, one ticket in Texas did match four of the five white balls and the Powerball to win.

The winning white ball numbers for last night's drawing were 5, 6, 36, 53, and 69, and the Powerball number was 8 with a Power Play of 2X.

There were no jackpot winners in last night's Powerball drawing, pushing the jackpot to an estimated $95 million for Wednesday's drawing.

Enjoy playing the Texas Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
