If you buy your Pennsylvania Lottery tickets in Luzerne County, it is time for you to check those tickets for a big winner!

The winning ticket

A jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Luzerne County for the Sunday, June 23 drawing of the Pennsylvania Lottery game, Cash 5 with Quick Cash. The winning numbers for that June 23 drawing were 4, 9, 12, 19, and 30.

The winning ticket, which matched all five balls drawn to win the $1.36 million jackpot, was purchased at CITGO, located at 2999 Bear Creek Boulevard in Wilkes-Barre. For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, the retailer will get a $10,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

In addition to the jackpot-winning ticket being sold, Lottery officials announced that 30,500 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes in the June 23 drawing. If you purchased a Cash 5 ticket for the June 23 drawing, make sure to check to see if you are one of the lucky winners.

Claiming your prize

Since the Cash 5 with Quick Cash winner has not claimed their winnings yet, they cannot be announced. A main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. If you happen to win any prizes on the Quick Cash portion of the game, those prizes must be claimed within one year of the purchase date.

If you are holding onto that jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket, then officials recommend you contact the nearest Pennsylvania Lottery claim center for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.

Another millionaire crowned

In addition to the Cash 5 with Quick Cash jackpot-winning ticket being sold, Lottery officials announced another lucky lottery retailer in Philadelphia sold a $3 million-winning scratch-off ticket for the $160 Million Cash Blowout game.

The winning ticket was sold at Saloni Newsstand, located at 310 Oregon Avenue in Philadelphia. For selling the big winner, the retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The game, $160 Million Cash Blowout, is a $30 game that offers five top prizes of $3 million. After this win, there are still three top prizes remaining. In addition, there are five other top prizes available, ranging from $500 to $150,000.

For those scratch-off winners, they have one year from the game's end-sale date posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery website to claim their prize. Lottery officials encourage winners to immediately sign the back of their ticket and call their headquarters at 1-800-692-7481 to claim their winnings.

Lottery officials also want players to know that scratch-offs are distributed at random. That means the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers have no idea of where winning tickets will be sold. They don't find out where the winning tickets are sold until after a prize has been claimed.

Of course, any lottery prize over $5,000 is subject to applicable state and federal withholdings, so keep that in mind when claiming your winnings.

Enjoy playing the Pennsylvania Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
