Lottery tickets went on sale in 1988, with instant games generating strong initial sales and demonstrating immediate public interest.
Since its establishment, the Kansas Lottery has generated significant revenue for state programs. Lottery proceeds support various public services throughout Kansas, including education, economic development, and other priority areas that benefit residents.
